This project represents several milestones in my creative career. Begingame is the first song that I composed and released as Elusive Truth, and was the first single released by my label Seahoma Records. This is also my first full length video editing project using Adobe Premiere. I captured the footage on mobile devices, and spun the clips into a concept which leverages smooth panning motions interspersed with stillness to highlight the beauty and serenity of everyday life. As the story evolves, daytime flows from morning to sunset to night.
The song's message is loosely told by the production POV: this is a story of learning to create music by drawing inspiration from the trappings of ordinary existence. In the latter part of the video, the viewer is treated to a brief glimpse into the rich community of electronic dance music.
The video was shared to YouTube, launching the Seahoma Records video channel. More content will come with upcoming music releases, and as we add more artists to our roster!
